Why few things are favourite for us?

Hello guys!

Do you understand what the term "favorite" means? Why do we have a few favourite things? Can we choose them or do they become favourites on their own?

So, let's have a discussion around these questions today.

What is meant by favourite?

Favourite is something that makes you happy, like your favorite food that just by looking at it & smelling it makes you want to fly in the sky. You can't stop yourself from dancing if you love it, or you can't stop yourself from dancing when someone plays your favourite song. Playing your favourite song & putting headphones to your ears feels like you are lighter than the clouds, relaxed like you are in heaven & you feel better soon after. When you are exhausted with all your work all day, it just feels like you are re-energized.

Your favourite thing always makes you smile, no matter how your mood is, when you get it or think about it.
Your favorite things have a natural connection to you.

Why only some things are favourite for us?

The reasons you give about why blue is your favorite colour, why paneer is your favorite food, and why dance is your favorite are all made up & only to avoid being speechless.  A favourite thing isn't based on any particular reason, it's just because you enjoy it, it makes you happy. Why do you enjoy something? Why does it make you happy? Answering these questions will probably make you repeat the same things in different forms, because there is no reason why you enjoy some things.

Let's take an example: There are two little girls, one of them has attended dance classes since childhood, and the other watches them from a distance every day.
Eventually, we discovered that the second girl just loved dance and practiced even without music. However, the first one, despite practice daily, having all the facilities for dance, could not love dance, dance is not her favorite thing, she just does it because of her parents or someone else. So, you can see that you cannot force something to be your favourite, also not any person can be your favourite forcefully. Since nature is most powerful, it cannot be changed or forced by outside circumstances since it is a natural choice

.

Does your favourite things become un-favourite with time?

If something is really special to you, then that won't change, but there can be situations when you have made distance from those things & that's why you no longer feel the connection.
If, for example, you loved playing guitar in college but haven't played it in five years, people might think or you might think that you used to love it when it was your favorite activity, but this is absolutely incorrect, you still like it if it was truly your favorite activity, it is just the time gap that makes you feel that way. If you give it time, you can enjoy playing that again. It will again make you feel happy & connected.

Why favourite things are important for us?

As I mentioned before, we don't make favourite things, rather they become part of our lives. We all have favourite things but it can be possible that we haven't noticed them yet. Here, the advantage of knowing your favourite thing is that you can do that whenever you feel depressed, even people make their favourite thing as their career. Also, this is the biggest blessing of life that, you do your favourite work with your whole efforts in your career as well.
Favourite things become your motivation which keeps you focused towards your goal. Your favourite things are for you, they help you whenever you are alone. Doesn't matter if you are a doctor today, if dance is your favourite you can do that anytime. That will make you happier & fresh to keep working.

So what's your favourite things? Can you give reason why are they your favourite? By the way I hope my write-ups become your favourite too...
